Charming Surroundings with Areas for Improvement
Beautifully decorated during our December stay, the grounds and reception were lovely. we faced minor issues, our room was too warm, and we experienced slow service at dinner. Breakfast though was delightful, especially the room service on our last day. a pleasant stay but with noticeable areas for enhancement.

excellent parks and easy access to attractions nearby
I had a great time staying here, especially with the beautiful Lightwater Country Park just a short stroll away and the convenience of Camberley Shopping Centre only a little over 2 km away, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local vibe. my only small critique would be that the food could use some improvements on presentation and variety.

The authentic Victorian Manor House exudes charm and grandeur. The entrance hall shines with a regal splendour, setting the stage for a luxurious stay.
The absence of a lift poses a real hassle for lugging bags to upper floors. Rooms feel dated and not well-maintained, with visible marks on the floors and walls. Prices for food and drinks are steep, far exceeding local options, with one meal costing nearly £50 for just a couple of items. Breakfast could use more variety, as fruit options seem almost non-existent. I had issues contacting room service, needing to go through reception instead due to unanswered calls. The spa treatments, while appealing, felt overpriced for the quality received, and the lack of communication from therapists throughout treatment was disappointing.

I had a lovely time enjoying the spa treatments—they were utterly relaxing and the wellness facilities were just what I needed. Dinner was a delight, especially the incredible lamb dish. quite satisfied, though the photos didn’t quite match the actual room decor.

We had a fabulous overnight stay, and the takeaway breakfast bags they prepared for us were a delightful surprise. The spa and indoor pool really helped us unwind after a busy day, making our trip even better. Just a heads up, the room got a bit warm, but it didn't detract from our overall experience! 😊

The Standard Double Room was nice and clean, but it was kind of dark in there, which made it tough to see. There was also a safe that had no instructions, and we ended up needing staff to help. On the bright side, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.

Had a blast munching on the fab breakfast spread with fresh pastries and being chummy with the ever-cheerful staff! The hotel grounds were lush and perfect for a sunny lunch outside.
The dining could step up its game though, really—only one type of pastry and no brown bread?
